After 128 shots in a medal and waking up on the sunday am with a £2000 6 timer footy win!!! it was a week of reflection and back to the drawing board. Last of 95 is a was a new low. BUT on summary of the card 4 holes were a 10 and one was a 16 and on a links course! The driving range has seen some hammer this week as i snapped my sand wedge ! THEN the penny dropped again and after a bucket of 60 half good half bad balls, instead of going home i bought another 90 and told Sarah to plate my tea up. To say i came back smiling was the understatement of the week! If i could repeat that on course i’d be raising a glass of prosecco by the 14th! What a strange game it is. Anyway 9 holes this afty then the Newquay links course twice next week….i’ll keep you posted. By the time we go on the Calco i will have an OFFICIAL club handicap!
