Spoken to a few people over the last 24 hours. What makes me laugh the most is the ‘i’m moose material’ comments…TRUST ME on one thing talk is cheap, be in that last fourball and then tell me how you feel…..experience is everything….. I SENSE A NEW MOOSE & MOOSETTE THIS YEAR DESPITE WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING 🙂

Awesome performance from Ferny yesterday to win our local Golf Day. 41pts in horrific conditions. 2nd place to Lizzy (36pts) and good to decent performances from Flemming (34) Hardwick (33) Wind (30) and Doig (29). Moose material performance from Lightowler (23) myself (22) Keith (20) Wallis (n) (17) & Ramm (16). Hopefully it wont rain in Portugal.

ANNOUNCEMENT – The vote is in and the result is that yardage devises will be allowed from this year. The vote came back Yes – 19, No – 8, with five abstaining. Some better ask for their Christmas present early and others will have to learn how to use the ones they’ve got!! Good Luck everyone ;0)

R.I.P. Ken Dodd who was going to sponsor this years event. I’ve just seen Martin Crossfield packing his golf bag after hearing he’s drawn Dave Bell, Calla and Gav in his fourball – He’s got 9 irons, 3 woods, sand iron, putter, a folding chair, a newspaper, ear plugs and a length of rope…….
