Hit a 93 this week. So that’s to 25!
However after hitting a 9, two 8 and a 7, I hit 7 pars and totalled 33 points playing off my 19 h/cap.
Happy overall.

The Flyer is joint 9/4 fav for tonights heat, he was 3/1 early doors with Paddy Power. Prices range from 14`s to 20`s for him to win it outright. Got a feeling it`s his turn to show us what he is capable of. The final will be shown live on Sky at that bar we meet in downtown Albufeira. I have invested !!

Has the Calco Flyer now qualified for the final or is there another round two go? How good will that be watching the Flyer win the final on the first night of the Calco…….are they sending the Sky camera crew over to film us and interview Keith?

Had another round with 2 Calco boys on Friday, Micky B was his usual off the tee but did a bit of fannying around to finis on 31 pts . We were playing off our Calco handicaps & no gimmes Mr Hardwick !! A quick review of yesterday’s golf at the picturesque Woodsome Hall ,where a few Calco boys were on show after various lessons, swing changes etc. Bad prep by AK, on the lash from 6-30pm till 3-30 am but managed a creditable 31pts. WOW! 1st ever game on Fistral links. It would sort you lot out end of! MEDAL COMPS ARE NO MORE! 16 shots on one hole! i entertained the crowds though 128 shots! last of 95 but met some great new people……links courses are a different animal end of!

Playing East Bierley most of the year which is a Par68.
Only once have I hit my actual handicap until this week.
I managed an 83 which I hope can lead to better things, bug more probably a one off.
We’ll see next Tuesday-

Played in the comp that Keith won on Sunday. Impressive performance. Hardwick just lost out on victory but played well. Left a standard 3 or 4 shots out there and similar to Lizzy his putting is a concern. V average from myself but in the middle of the annual swing re design. What a wonderful feeling it is knowing i am hoping for a mid table finish or higher. Lessons have been great, can still nob a couple but nothing like of old. Top work from Lofty to win the Society day on Sunday with 35 points.
