    Great day yesterday and my run of winning the warm up comp continues. Easy really, partner someone with the surname Baldwin who has a generous handicap, preferably one not given by the committee. Rumours from the North for the South…
    – Some top quality golfers joining the Calco this year inc. 2 x 7 handicappers.
    – Plenty taking golf lessons as part of their preparation (apart from Jeff who says its all in the mind).
    – Handicap meeting took 3 hours on Saturday evening, & Ferny has started smoking again to help with the stress of it all.
    – Research from one player has included looking at the course fairways on Google Earth! 23 metres wide on average apparently…
    Can’t wait now.
